Lagos has the budget, the mandate and the records. What is missing is a firm willing to do the unglamorous engineering between a file room and an answer.
The founder
Maple City is led by an engineer who builds and ships. We are hands-on by design: the person who sells you the work is accountable for delivering it.
The thesis
Scanning bureaus produce images with no index. Portal vendors build an interface with nothing underneath it. Foreign integrators cannot host your data in Nigeria. The Big-4 will not build. The middle, extraction, indexing, citation, and operating it afterwards, is most of the engineering and nobody wants it.
How we are different
Every answer cites the record behind it, and says so when there is none. Your data stays in Nigeria. You own the index and everything derived from it. And there is a written list of work we will not take.
Where we work
Lagos State and its ministries first, with the rest of Nigeria as the roadmap. Financial institutions alongside, because the engineering is the same and it funds the work. Rooted here, fluent in the regulation, built to international standards. Also in Ottawa, Canada, which is where much of that engineering experience was built.
